Platform Engineer AI Senior

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale AI-native systems across backend, frontend, orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and deployment.

This is not a narrow backend-only or frontend-only role. We need someone who can design and build end-to-end AI products that work through chat, understand documents and structured files, generate outputs like PPTs, PDFs, reports, and content, manage long-running workflows, and run reliably in local-first as well as cloud-supported environments.

You will work on AI systems that combine LLMs, multimodal inputs, document intelligence, async processing, workflow automation, and production-grade interfaces.

What You Will Build

You will help develop AI systems that can:

• Generate proposals, presentations, PDFs, reports, and structured outputs
• Understand product decks, SOWs, documents, spreadsheets, audio, images, and video
• Support chat-first workflows for task execution and customer interaction
• Search, retrieve, compare, and summarize knowledge across files
• Handle approval-based actions, status tracking, and communication history
• Run long workflows using queues, workers, retries, and progress tracking
• Support multimodal AI pipelines and insight generation
• Execute, validate, and improve AI-generated code or workflows
• Deploy reliably using Docker and cloud infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-native applications across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
• Build robust APIs and orchestration layers for LLM-based systems
• Develop chat-first product experiences for users and admins
• Create pipelines for document ingestion, retrieval, parsing, reasoning, and generation
• Work with PDFs, DOCs, CSV, Excel, images, audio, and video as structured inputs
• Build modular services for content generation, retrieval, reporting, and automation
• Implement task queues, background workers, retries, job tracking, and async workflows
• Containerize and deploy systems using Docker and cloud platforms
• Build secure systems with access control, role-based logic, and audit-friendly flows
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate on architecture, product direction, and production rollout

Must-Have Skills

• Strong backend engineering experience in Python
• Strong frontend development experience with modern web frameworks
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Ability to build full-stack systems end to end
• Strong API design and service architecture skills
• Experience with async processing, queues, workers, and retry-based workflows
• Experience handling multimodal inputs such as documents, images, spreadsheets, audio, or video
• Strong understanding of structured data handling and document processing
• Comfortable building systems that are modular, production-ready, and scalable

Preferred Skills

• FastAPI or similar Python API framework
• React, Next.js, or similar frontend stack
• Experience with local or self-hosted LLMs
• Prompt orchestration and tool-calling workflows
• RAG, retrieval systems, and knowledge-based chat interfaces
• OCR, transcription, or media-processing pipelines
• PPT, PDF, and report generation workflows
• Role-based access systems, versioning, and file intelligence
• WebRTC or real-time streaming experience
• Experience validating and executing AI-generated code or workflows

Pay: ₹743,845.28 - ₹1,339,889.96 per year
