Junior Data Scientist ( Mentor)

Job Summary

DataTeach.ai is looking for Data Science Course Mentors who are trained or experienced in Data Science and Data Analytics to support students throughout their learning journey. The mentor will assist learners in completing assignments, daily practice tasks, and real-time projects while ensuring conceptual clarity and practical understanding.

This role is ideal for professionals or freshers with strong practical knowledge in Python, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning who are passionate about mentoring and guiding students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students enrolled in Data Science and Data Analytics courses.
• Assist students in completing:
• Assignments and assessments
• Daily coding practice tasks
• Mini-projects and capstone projects
• Help learners debug code and understand implementation steps.
• Support students in using tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, and data science libraries.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions (online or offline).
• Coordinate with trainers to ensure smooth course delivery.
• Encourage students to complete projects aligned with industry use cases.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Python for Data Science.
• Understanding of NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and basic statistics.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing and visualization techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and mentoring ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in Data Science/Data Analytics.
• Experience working on academic or real-world data science projects.
• Prior mentoring, teaching assistant, or internship experience is a plus.
• B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Tech / MCA or related educational background.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
