Hiring Business Analyst-Manufacturing with Datamatics-Mumbai/Bangalore

Job purpose

We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience in the manufacturing domain to support app modernization and digital transformation initiatives. The role involves bridging business needs with technology solutions across existing legacy applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to App Modernization activities.
• Map and optimize end-to-end workflows.
• Work closely with IT teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, etc.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and/or MES platforms
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to oil & gas or subsea engineering domain
• Knowledge of data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, etc.)
• Experience in digital transformation or app modernization projects.
