About the job Role Summary:We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to support and scale our integration platform. In this role, you will handle day-to-day customer support tickets and quickly ramp up to take ownership of more complex integration and data-related issues. You will troubleshoot integration and data issues end-to-end, identify whether problems originate from our platform, third-party application, or customer configurations, and communicate clearly with business users, including finance and accounting stakeholders. What You’ll Do: Own and resolve daily support tickets related to integrations, data discrepancies, and synchronization issuesQuickly ramp up to handle more complex integration behaviors and advanced troubleshooting scenariosInvestigate issues by tracing data flows and creating repeatable diagnostic queriesGather clear, structured evidence before escalating issues to Services, Product team.Partner closely with Product and Engineering by submitting high-quality, well-documented escalation tickets (clear reproduction steps, impact, and suspected components)Create and improve internal troubleshooting guides and contribute to knowledge base content to reduce repeat issuesClearly communicate technical findings and next steps to non-technical customers, especially finance and accounting users What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong SQL skills and experience working at least one major database (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar)Solid understanding of APIs and integration conceptsStrong troubleshooting and triage skills: ability to reproduce issues, isolate variables, identify patterns, and propose fixes or workaroundsProven ability to explain technical root causes and next steps to non-technical users (finance/accounting). Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing habits Nice to Have: Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts (chart of accounts, journal entries, AR/AP, invoices, dimensions/classes, multi-entity)Experience supporting integrations with ERP, accounting, CRM, or iPaaS platformsComfort using Postman, including authentication setups (API keys, OAuth, bearer tokens), headers, environments, and reproducing issues outside the platform Core Traits We Value: A structured problem solver who breaks down complex issues and identifies root causesDetail-oriented with a strong eye for data inconsistenciesA strong sense of ownership and accountability from investigation through resolutionCalm and resilient when working through ambiguity and customer pressureA clear communicator who translates technical findings into plain language and provides concise, actionable updates to internal teams Location: DataBlend, an eOne Company, has offices in Austin, TX, Fargo, ND, and Stowe, VT. Remote work is an option, but being near one of our offices is preferred.
