About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer Intern to join our team in CityVista, Kharadi, Pune. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain hands-on experience working with data pipelines, databases, and analytics systems in a real-world environment.

Data engineers help build systems that collect, store, and organize data so it can be used for analysis and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines
• Work with SQL databases and data warehouses
• Support data collection, cleaning, and transformation processes
• Help integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, etc.)
• Assist in monitoring data quality and fixing data issues
• Collaborate with data analysts and developers
• Document data workflows and technical processes

Data engineering interns typically support teams with tasks like data collection, integration, and monitoring of pipelines.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with Python or any programming language
• Understanding of databases and data structures
• Basic knowledge of ETL concepts
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy
• Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP
• Familiarity with Power BI / Tableau
• Understanding of Big Data tools like Spark or Hadoop

Eligibility

• B.Tech / B.E / BCA / MCA / BSc (Computer Science / Data Science / IT)
• Final year students or recent graduates
