Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution tasks, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the safe and accurate handling of goods. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to support smooth operations and effective inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes
• Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks accurately according to warehouse management system instructions
• Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and other machinery for material handling
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
• Assist with construction or maintenance tasks within the warehouse as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Experience with order picker, crane operation, forklift operation, clamp trucks, and heavy lifting techniques
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and load/unload tasks
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform manual labor as required
• Construction or industrial experience is a plus for supporting maintenance or setup tasks

This position is vital for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting overall supply chain effectiveness.

Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour
