Construction Carpenter/Mobile Trailer Retrofitter

Construction Carpenter/Trailer Retrofitter wanted for small construction company.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25 -$35 per hour, dependent upon skill level

DUTIES/DETAILS

• Mobile trailer retrofitting (demolition, framing, flooring, construction etc.)
• General carpentry
• Pre-engineered building installations
• Work to be mostly at shop location, occasionally on jobsites
• Mostly indoor, some outdoor work.
• Shop Space and some tools provided, but own tools seen as an asset

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience required
• Must have good working knowledge of the English language – both verbal and written
• Must have a reliable vehicle
• Able to perform work while standing
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to perform repetitive tasks
• Steel-toed safety boots required
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Demonstrated safe work habits
• Able to work unsupervised, motivated to complete all tasks
• Able to communicate, and work well with others in a team environment
• Excellent housekeeping and equipment cleaning practices.
• Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills

ASSETS:

• Advanced knowledge of general safety practices
• Working at Heights, WHMIS and other health and safety certifications

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
