Need local consultants
Hopewell, VA or Bucks, AL
Provide hardware, software, and application support across all platforms including Windows PCs/laptops, iOS devices, and mobile phones.
- Monitor and respond to help desk incidents and requests, providing problem resolution via phone, email, remote access, and in-person support; escalate appropriately.
- Prepare, image, deploy, and refresh endpoints (desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices); follow standard build, patching, and security baselines.
- Maintain printers including deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and supply management; coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Maintain and track IT hardware inventory and software licensing; ensure accurate asset records and timely updates in ticketing/asset systems.
- Provide basic directory and access support (for example, Active Directory) as authorized; follow change management and security procedures.
- Perform training and information sessions on key business tools and systems.
- Update tickets and assignments according to established procedures and service level expectations.
Site Controls, Documentation, and Communications
- Perform periodic site technology controls and compliance activities (for example, visual inspections of IT-controlled spaces and support for physical access reviews) using established checklists and evidence requirements.
- Maintain local site documentation, escalation contact lists/call trees, and knowledge base content; ensure communications paths are current.
- Coordinate site IT communications for outages/maintenance and serve as a local point of coordination for site IT issues in partnership with IT leadership and broader IT teams.
