This Volunteer Placement is Located in: Kingston, Jamaica Start Date: July 2026 Placement Length: 5 months Language Requirements: English Level 4-Advanced Eligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada only The Volunteers Role The primary goal of this placement is to assist our partner, Grace & Staff Community Development Foundation, by utilizing your communication and marketing expertise, particularly focusing on social media support. As a volunteer, you''ll work alongside the team to manage their online content, helping to boost the visibility of Grace & Staff CDF programs. As a volunteer, you will: Assist in the effective management and enhancement of the Foundation''s online presence, particularly through various social media platforms, to engage with the audience and promote the mission. Provide comprehensive training to staff members on the effective use of social media tools and strategies, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to effectively represent the Foundation in the digital space and maximize our outreach efforts. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Project: Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE) Partner: Grace & Staff Community Development Foundation Volunteer Support and Requirements Support Package Cuso International provides a comprehensive support package to ensure volunteers maintain a modest and healthy lifestyle aligned with local standards.
