Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • A. Security Operations
  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day deployment of security personnel across gates, towers, and common areas.
  • Ensure proper functioning of access control, visitor management, and material movement.
  • Conduct regular patrolling of the township to identify risks, hazards, and breaches.
  • Monitor CCTV operations, record any suspicious activity, and ensure timely escalation.
  • B. Personnel Management
  • Prepare duty rosters, manage shift schedules, and ensure adequate manpower at all posts.
  • Conduct briefing and debriefing sessions for guards at each shift change.
  • Ensure grooming, discipline, and performance of security staff as per organizational standards.
  • C. Incident & Emergency Handling
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and any unusual occurrences within the premises.
  • Maintain incident reports, logbooks, and coordinate with management for corrective actions.
  • Support evacuation drills, fire safety drills, and emergency preparedness activities.
  • D. Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain records related to attendance, daily activity reports, visitor logs, and gate passes.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, statutory norms, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with external agencies (police, fire department, vendors) as required.
  • E. Customer Service
  • Handle resident queries and complaints related to security and provide timely resolution.
  • Ensure courteous and professional behavior of the security team.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

  • Robust leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Good communication skills (Hindi, English; Marathi preferred).
  • Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operations, and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to handle conflict, crowd control, and high-pressure situations.

Basic computer literacy for report preparation.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum Graduate with security background.
  • 35 years of experience in security operations, preferably in townships, residential societies, or large campuses.
  • Experience in managing a team of security guards.
  • Prior experience with facility management companies will be an added advantage.
  • Fire & Safety certification preferred (optional but beneficial).
