Job Description
Cummings Electrical is hiring Apprentice Electricians for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.
Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.
As part of our team, you will work hands-on in a fast-paced, innovative environment, helping reduce jobsite risks, accelerate project timelines, and deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities
- Read basic blueprints
- Install single pole switch
- Bend and install EMT (electrical metallic tubing)
- Install/Terminate wires on devices (receptacles)
- Install light fixtures
Qualifications
- Active TDLR Apprentice License is required
- Minimum 1 year Apprentice Electrician experience (commercial/industrial preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable in a Construction/Manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties
