About the Company
Titan DR Metal Solutions SRL is a Dominican Republic-based manufacturer specializing in aluminum windows, doors, railings, fencing systems, curtain wall products and related building materials.
The company currently serves local construction projects in the Dominican Republic and is expanding its export business into the Canadian and U.S. markets. Product lines include aluminum windows and doors, folding fencing systems, railing systems,
commercial doors and customized metal building products.
Position Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the Canadian and U.S. customers, building distribution channels, identifying project opportunities and driving sales of Titan products across the North American building materials market.
This role requires a practical, experienced sales professional who understands B2B construction material sales and can independently generate leads, manage customer relationships, prepare quotations, follow up on projects and close orders.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Develop new customers in the Canadian and U.S. markets, including distributors, dealers, contractors, builders, developers, architects, installation companies and construction material suppliers.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities for aluminum windows, doors, railings, fences, commercial doors and customized metal building products.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and active projects.
Research target regions, competitors, price levels, customer needs and product requirements.
Sales & Client Management
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting, introduction, quotation, sample coordination and negotiation to order confirmation, payment follow-up and post-sale communication.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and support repeat orders.
Understand customer requirements, drawings, specifications, measurements, delivery expectations and compliance needs.
Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, production feasibility, lead time, packaging, shipping and documentation.
Channel Development
Build sales channels with Canadian and US distributors, building material dealers, fence/railing installers, window and door dealers and project contractors.
Develop potential partnerships with regional wholesalers and construction supply companies.
Support the company in establishing a repeatable the Canadian and U.S. and sales model.
Quotation & Project Follow-up
Prepare or coordinate quotations based on drawings, product specifications, quantities and customer requirements.
Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed orders.
Track project status, decision timelines, competitors, pricing pressure and customer feedback.
Support sample delivery, mock-up requests, technical clarification and product presentations.
Market Feedback & Reporting
Provide regular feedback on product demand, pricing, customer objections, certification needs, packaging, logistics and after-sales issues.
Submit weekly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, customer feedback and next-step action plans.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of sales or business development experience in North America.
Experience in building materials, windows and doors, aluminum products, fencing, railing, curtain wall, construction supplies or related industries is strongly preferred.
Existing network with Canadian and U.S. distributors, contractors, builders, dealers, installers or project customers is a major advantage.
Ability to independently develop customers and close deals.
Strong understanding of B2B sales, project sales, channel sales or trade sales.
Able to read basic product specifications, drawings, sizes, quantities and construction-related documents.
Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with overseas production and management teams.
Fluent English required. Mandarin or Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Based in Canada, with ability to communicate with U.S. clients.
Willingness to travel to the U.S. for customer visits, trade shows, distributor meetings or project discussions when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to Canadian and U.S. contractors, distributors, home improvement channels or construction material dealers.
Experience with aluminum windows, vinyl windows, glass products, railing systems, fencing systems, commercial doors or facade products.
Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. building material import/export, logistics, FOB/CIF terms, customs documentation or container shipment process.
Existing customer resources in Florida, Texas, California, New York/New Jersey, Georgia, the Carolinas or other active construction markets.
Experience launching a new product line or supplier brand into the Canadian and U.S. market.
Familiarity with trade shows, dealer development and contractor networks.
