Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Experience with dealership operations, welding, and schematic reading is highly desirable. The Automotive Mechanic will also provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and vehicle diagrams for accurate repairs
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet industry standards
• Assist with vehicle assembly or part replacement as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and answering client questions
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and accurately

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role; dealership experience is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) frequently throughout the workday
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
• Prior experience with automotive repair, maintenance, assembly, or related fields is highly valued

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
