Job Description
Summary: We are looking for experienced Big Data Engineers who can design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines in modern cloud environments. This role involves collaborating closely with software developers, data architects, analysts, and data scientists to deliver high-quality, end-to-end data solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Scala, Spark, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines across batch and event-driven architectures
- Apply strong functional programming skills in Scala
- Implement data quality, performance optimization, and scalable data solutions
- Re-platform on-premises data warehouses to cloud platforms
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and data scientists for seamless data delivery
Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on Scala programming (mandatory)
- Spark & Spark Streaming (RDDs, DataFrames, tuning, troubleshooting)
- Strong SQL (complex queries, real-world problem solving) , Python
- Experience with any Cloud Platform (AWS preferred), ETL/ELT, Data Lake, Data Streaming
- Kafka / Kinesis / other streaming services
- Experience Required: 3 to 10 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience
