Job Description
Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof.
Our flagship is a three-story space home to an all-day cafe, highly-curated marketplace featuring sought-after ingredients and prepared specialty items, a casual trattoria rooted in classic Italian cuisine, rare Amaro Library, versatile private event spaces, and year-round rooftop.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of Italian dishes from fresh in house made pastas, curated dry age meats, seafood and other Italian cuisine. You will also be working directly with the Chef de Cuisine, Sous chefs and other Line Cooks in order to produce the best quality for guests.
In terms of both cuisine and service, our standards are high – and so are those of our guests.
In the kitchen, everything is created from scratch, with great attention to detail, including bread service and all ingredients supporting the cocktail program; we also practice whole animal butchery. Our front-of-the-house team provides seamless service to our guests with knowledge and warmth. We are always looking for individuals who value the importance of hospitality and creating exceptional moments for our guests.
