Your Role:

As the key player in our customer retention efforts, you will be essential in keeping our small-to-medium business clients satisfied and thriving. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to customer disconnect calls with creative solutions and appealing offers.
  • Assisting with billing inquiries to create a top-notch customer experience.
  • Identifying upsell opportunities while addressing customer needs to drive additional revenue.
  • Making outbound calls to inform customers about new products, referral programs, and service upgrades.
  • Engaging with customers nearing contract expiration to secure renewals and upsell.
  • Negotiating pricing and terms with clients while providing competitive comparisons.
  • Troubleshooting service and billing issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with sales support to address service challenges.
  • Educating customers about maximizing their Cox Business products and services.
  • Providing insights to the marketing team to help shape future strategies.

Who You Are

You are an empathetic listener and a problem-solver. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field, or any degree/certification beyond a HS diploma with up to 1 year of experience, or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency with computers and common business software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field.
  • B2B sales experience with a record of meeting quotas.
  • Background in revenue generation or customer retention.
  • Experience in the communications industry or with major communications equipment vendors.

The hourly pay rate is between $17.40 - $26.06, plus an annual incentive target of $28,340.00. Employees enjoy at least sixteen hours of paid time off each month and seven paid holidays a year, along with additional leave options.
