So, what’s the job?
You’ll use a continuous delivery mindset to ensure a frictionless path to production.
You’ll provide proactive feedback on potential issues and risks across the delivery lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with release teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and predictable releases.
You’ll leverage strong knowledge of the development ecosystem, including Git, CI pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
You’ll apply software architecture design skills to maintain high availability and fault tolerance.
You’ll contribute across the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
You’ll demonstrate a strong understanding of systems architecture within high‑availability environments.
You’ll apply best practices in networking and information security.
You’ll build and maintain automation for build and deployment pipelines, including scripting, code repositories, and container platforms.
You’ll use tools such as Octopus, TeamCity, Serverless Framework, Terraform, AWS, Windows, Linux, and containerization technologies effectively.
You’ll communicate clearly and build strong rapport with internal stakeholders across teams.
You’ll embed Agile product development practices into day‑to‑day delivery.
You’ll collaborate with business and product owners to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll design and implement DevOps deployment automation using GitHub Actions.
You’ll assess and advise on the use of serverless development frameworks.
You’ll demonstrate a passion for independent self‑learning with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
You’ll mentor and coach team members on DevOps tools, practices, and ways of working.
You’ll manage, analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents for core applications, ensuring SLA adherence.
You’ll partner with critical incident teams to conduct root cause analysis and define preventative actions.
You’ll apply a strong understanding of Change and Problem Management processes.
You’ll prepare, document, and maintain reports and run books to strengthen the shared knowledge base.
You’ll monitor application and infrastructure alerts and respond quickly to incidents.
You’ll define alerting requirements and configure them effectively within New Relic tools.
You’ll contribute directly to product development initiatives.
You’ll provide extended support during critical or blocker incidents when required.
You’ll use customer insights to help shape and guide business initiatives.
You’ll ensure best‑practice customer initiatives are adopted and consistently applied.
You’ll deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers in line with company standards, regulatory obligations, and SLAs.
You’ll handle all confidential information in accordance with company and partner protocols and procedures.
You’ll maintain high standards of customer relationship management at all times.
You’ll ensure all interactions meet the highest professional standards, communicating clearly and appropriately with all stakeholders.
You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across the Cover‑More Group, providing regular updates and reporting.
You’ll ensure all communications align with and reinforce the company’s Brand Promise.
You’ll keep accurate records of interactions in line with SOPs and established processes.
You’ll be accountable for achieving personal performance and behavioural targets aligned to quarterly KPIs.
You’ll contribute proactively to team performance targets in collaboration with the Team Leader, supporting service expectations, productivity, compliance, and behavioural standards.
You’ll identify development strategies to achieve your career goals and actively engage in training and development opportunities.
And what are we looking for?
You’ll bring a minimum of 4+ years of hands‑on experience in software development.
You’ll have 3+ years of experience supporting production applications, ensuring stability and performance.
You’ll hold a graduate degree with relevant professional experience.
You’ll bridge the gap between Development and Operations, enabling smooth collaboration and delivery.
You’ll demonstrate strong hands‑on experience with .NET, SQL, MVC, APIs, WCF, and networking fundamentals.
You’ll have a good understanding of the MuleSoft API library and API‑driven integrations.
You’ll be familiar with New Relic or similar logging and monitoring tools (good to have).
You’ll maintain and recommend CI/CD best practices, including automating security testing at DevOps speed.
You’ll manage and maintain central Dev systems for source control, CI pipelines, service discovery, and related tooling.
You’ll apply a continuous delivery mindset to ensure a frictionless and reliable path to production.
You’ll bring proficiency and hands‑on experience with Octopus, TeamCity, Serverless Framework, Terraform, AWS, Windows, Linux, and containerization technologies.
You’ll demonstrate strong practical knowledge of build and deployment automation, scripting, code repositories, and containers.
You’ll take ownership of business‑reported issues, performing impact analysis, root cause analysis, proposing and implementing fixes, working on SQL scripts, and producing documentation and ad‑hoc reports.
