Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests in a warm, professional, and engaging manner, consistent with the Couples Resorts brand. This role requires strong product knowledge, efficiency, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and safety. This position reports to the Bar Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with resort recipes and presentation standards
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to all guests
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cocktail menus, wine lists, and beverage promotions
• Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, equipment, and storage spaces
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and requisitions
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Collaborate effectively with bar, restaurant, and service teams
• Uphold Couples Resorts grooming, conduct, and service standards at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a bartender, preferably in a hotel or resort workplace
• Certification in bartending or mixology is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of international cocktails, wines, and spirits
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
