Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service to foster a welcoming environment for guests. Previous restaurant management experience, including supervising teams and handling food industry operations, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Supervise and motivate staff, including interviewing and training new team members
  • Manage food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to meet safety standards
  • Handle cash transactions, POS systems (including Micros POS), and cash handling duties accurately
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of supplies
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Implement policies that promote teamwork, hospitality, and excellent service quality
  • Assist in marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
  • Lead by example in maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Ability to manage restaurant operations efficiently under pressure
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members
  • Knowledge of food industry standards, kitchen operations, and restaurant experience
  • Leadership qualities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Background in food handling, serving, barista experience or hotel experience is advantageous
