The Town of Grimsby is looking for a Civil Engineering Technologist who is passionate about infrastructure, community growth, and building sustainable municipal systems.
In this role, you will support the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of key municipal infrastructure, including roads, water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation systems. Working with the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will play a hands-on role in delivering capital projects, supporting development applications, and ensuring infrastructure meets the needs of a rapidly growing community.

- Provide engineering and technical support across a wide range of infrastructure projects
- Assist with design reviews, construction administration, and project coordination
- Conduct field inspections, surveys, and data collection to support infrastructure programs
- Review engineering drawings, reports, and development applications for compliance
- Monitor construction progress and support contract administration activities
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, developers, and internal teams
- Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- Membership with OACETT (or eligibility)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering or municipal infrastructure
- Knowledge of water, wastewater, roads, and transportation systems
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and engineering/construction documentation
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
