Job Description

CoreFactor is currently searching for a SAP Security Consultant on a contract basis for a client in the GTA.

This is a hybrid role and will require the successful incumbent to come into the office two (2) times per week.

The Opportunity:

An experienced SAP Security Senior Consultant with hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA including Fiori and Portal accesses. You will play a critical role in our S/4HANA upgrade from 1909 to 2023 building and updating access authorizations and roles to accommodate new transactions as we replace all our compatibility mode transactions and move as an early adopter to the latest version of S/4HANA.

This role requires someone with strong analytical skills and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA who can work in a team environment and has a passion for access design and control.

A snapshot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do:

  • Collaborate with cross functional project teams to gather role requirements that adhere to the principles of least privileged access and segregation of duties.
  • Build or update Fiori roles using custom catalogs, groups, and OData services.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage SAP Security Roles, Profiles and Authorizations using automated scripts.
  • Transport management, following governance processes including GRC risk analysis.
  • Troubleshoot issues from unit testing and IT functional testing.
  • Communicate and store documentation on design decisions.
  • Coach junior security staff and provide knowledge transfer to the team.

Requirements

  • Educational degree in Business or Computer Science and ERP training.
  • Several years of experience in IT including experience with SAP Security Administration including role building and transporting using SU24 and PFCG.
  • Prior experience with S /4HANA upgrades
  • Experience with commonly used SAP Security Tcodes including SUIM, SU01, SU10, SU24, PFCG, SE93, AL08, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, SE01, SE16, SU53, etc.
  • GRC administration experience including risk and usage analysis.
  • Experience with segregation of duties (SOD) and SAP GRC Ruleset analyses and updates
  • Knowledge of S/4 HANA including Fiori security
  • Proficiency in Excel for analyses of large data sets with pivot tables and vlookups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Willingly to share knowledge and experience within the IT team.
