About the Opportunity

Our client, a fast-growing technology organization operating in advanced data and AI ecosystems, is expanding its Snowflake Platform Operations team.

This is a high-impact role for a mid-level engineer who combines strong Snowflake administration expertise with hands-on exposure to GenAI and Cortex-driven workloads. You will play a key role in maintaining platform stability, optimizing performance, and supporting enterprise-grade AI-enabled data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver L2-L3 platform support including provisioning, root cause analysis, and workflow optimization
• Own incident response and service restoration for Snowflake-based workloads
• Design and evolve Snowflake schemas and data models
• Optimize platform performance, governance, and RBAC structures
• Operate and fine-tune Snowflake Cortex / GenAI use cases (vector search, retrieval workflows, LLM-driven tasks)
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Improve data pipelines and platform reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

Required Experience & Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in data engineering or platform operations
• Strong expertise in Snowflake administration (RBAC, performance tuning, optimization)
• Advanced SQL proficiency
• Experience with ETL tools
• Python and/or DBT exposure preferred
• Hands-on experience with GenAI / LLM technologies (Snowflake Cortex strongly preferred)
• Strong service delivery discipline and stakeholder communication skills
• GCP exposure is a plus
