Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer – L1

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka & Wayanad, Kerala

Relocation: Candidate should be willing to relocate based on client requirements

Shift: 24×7 Rotational Shifts

Job Overview

We are looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer – L1 to monitor customer networks, handle incidents, and provide first-level technical support. The role requires continuous monitoring of network infrastructure using NMS tools and prompt coordination with customers and internal teams to ensure service availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer networks using NMS tools and customer portals on a 24×7 basis.
  • Handle customer emails and communication, providing timely updates through email or other communication channels.
  • Monitor alerts and respond to incident tickets promptly.
  • Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
  • Perform Level 1 troubleshooting by coordinating with the customer's local personnel.
  • Coordinate with backend teams, field engineers, and third-party service providers for issue resolution.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and chat.
  • Ensure updates are provided to customers and internal stakeholders on time.
  • Follow defined SLAs, TATs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Document incidents, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and resolution details.
  • Support planned maintenance activities and change management processes.
  • Escalate complex technical issues and coordinate with vendors for resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, and Fiber networks.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills (multi-language preferred) and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
  • Certification such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
