A Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Conga will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-powered features for production systems. You'll develop scalable ML infrastructure and services that handle high-volume workloads.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a vital role in the technology stack. You'll build and optimize ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and inference. You will implement and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for various use cases including document analysis, natural language processing, and intelligent automation.

Are you the person we're looking for?

Related experience. At least 6 years of experience in building production-quality products. Ability to understand complex problems, decompose them into a set of testable hypotheses, implement bug-free experiments, analyze the results, and produce insights, solutions, and next steps from the analysis.

Technicalexpertise.

• Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning (Python 3.x, jupyter notebook, regular expressions)
• Cloud technology platforms (AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI (GPT, Claude, LLaMA, or similar)
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals: supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, deep learning, NLP, computer vision

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Here's what will give you an edge...

• Experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, FAISS)
• Experience with document processing, OCR, or contract/legal document analysis
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM frameworks
• Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, distillation, pruning)
