Job Description
Our growing dental practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our growing team. We are looking for a strong leader who is passionate about patient care, supports team development, and helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our clinical team.
Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday
About the Role
As our Lead CDA, you will work closely with the dentists, clinical team, and management to maintain exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, organized professional who enjoys mentoring others and leading by example.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant in good standing with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals
- Minimum 3 years of clinical dental assisting experience preferred
- Completion of the CDAAC Sedation Module preferred
- Experience with digital dentistry and orthodontic workflows is an asset
- Experience with Clearent dental software is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for a variety of dental procedures
- Oversee infection control, sterilization protocols, and compliance
- Manage clinical inventory and supply ordering
- Ensure operatories are stocked, organized, and patient-ready
- Assist with daily clinical workflow and scheduling efficiency
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
