Operations Coordinator – Apparel

Summary

We are an established apparel company supplying major retailers in North America. We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Operations Coordinator to support our production and operations teams. This individual will work closely with the Production Manager, Operations Manager, and senior leadership to ensure smooth execution of daily operational tasks across our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit colors, artwork, and approvals electronically to customers and internal teams
• Prepare customer order forms and internal documentation
• Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers
• Maintain and update order tracking sheets, production calendars, and workflow trackers
• Route customer purchase orders for pickup and coordinate logistics with carriers
• Send pick tickets and shipping instructions to warehouse facilities
• Communicate with suppliers, production teams, and warehouse partners to ensure timely execution
• Support the operations team with administrative tasks, data entry, and document control
• Assist with troubleshooting delays, discrepancies, or missing information
• Provide general coordination support to ensure on‑time delivery and operational accuracy

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong computer proficiency, including the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables preferred)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience in apparel, retail, production, or supply chain is an asset
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach to follow‑ups and task completion
