Pay: $20/hour

Hours: 15–20 hours/week to start

Start Date: May 2026 (weather dependent)

Vehicle: Required (valid driver’s license + reliable vehicle)

About Us

We are a Winnipeg-based garden care service with a simple mission: help older adults and others who love their gardens but struggle with the physical work of keeping them tidy.

This is not basic landscaping. We focus on careful hand-weeding, garden bed maintenance, and plant-respectful care so clients can enjoy their gardens without the strain.

What You’ll Do

• Hand-weed garden beds and remove invasive plants
• Maintain tidy, healthy garden beds (light edging, clean-up, bagging yard waste)
• Identify common plants vs. weeds (training provided, attention to detail required)
• Communicate clearly after each visit: what was done and what needs attention next
• Provide respectful, professional service at client homes (many clients are older adults)

What We’re Looking For

• You enjoy gardening and outdoor work
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently and following a quality checklist
• Physically able to do outdoor garden work (bending, kneeling, lifting yard waste bags)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required)
• Experience in gardening/landscaping is an asset, but not required if you’re eager to learn
