Summary of Position:

We're looking for a reliable, safety-minded Warehouse Assistant to join our night operations team at our Brampton (Headquarters) facility. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced distribution environment where accuracy, ownership, and teamwork matter.

You'll work an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday (approximately 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM or 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM), alongside an onsite team and management. You won't be working in isolation, our night crew is collaborative and leads are present and engaged.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Case picking (85%), pallet picking (15%) and staging outbound orders accurately and within established timelines, ahead of our drivers arrival in the morning
• Receiving, checking in, and putting away inbound stock
• Replenishing picking locations and unloading inbound trailers
• Conducting quality control checks to confirm pick accuracy and proper securement
• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with ColdHaus safety standards
• Assisting with customer pickups and drop-offs at the facility
• Contributing to general warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Supporting the team with additional tasks as operations require

Minimum Qualifications:

• Availability to work Monday-Friday
• Ability to work with a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic products
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly; comfortable on your feet for the duration of a shift (Most cases weigh between 20-25lbs each)
• 2–3 years of warehouse or distribution centre experience
• Valid forklift certification (preferred - Coldhaus is willing to invest)
• Walkie and reach truck certification (preferred - Coldhaus is willing to invest)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• A safety-first mindset, you follow safe operating habits and look out for your team
• Reliable, punctual, and self-directed when needed
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Secondary School education (preferred)

Our Facility:

Our Brampton warehouse spans 150,000 sq ft and is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organization. The facility operates across mixed temperature zones, the majority of the space is ambient (room temperature), with a dedicated refrigerated section.

Coldhaus Direct is BRC certified and operates as a federally licensed and bonded facility. Our team handles both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products, and all warehouse staff are expected to understand and comply with the compliance obligations that come with working in a regulated, bonded environment.
