We are seeking an experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer with Backend Expertise to join the Base team. This role will focus on backend on-chain engineering to help accelerate our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems in Golang that power the Base platform.
• Utilize Kubernetes and cloud services to automate and sustain essential blockchain infrastructure.
• Research and prototype innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and scalability of blockchain clients.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software or systems engineering.
• Experience in developing and deploying core backend systems at large scales.
• Familiarity with contemporary trends and best practices in infrastructure and systems design.
• Proficient in writing high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable with Golang, Geth, Foundry, Solidity, or other relevant crypto technologies.
• Experience contributing to open-source crypto projects, including OP Stack or Base contributions.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud services like AWS or GCP.

Pay Transparency Notice: Annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
