The CX Analytics Engineering team plays a critical role in bridging the gap between data engineering, data science, and business analytics. We create scalable and influential data solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be a pivotal force, facilitating seamless operations across Analytics and Operations while also influencing the strategic direction of CX Analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trusted Data Sources: Develop and maintain essential data models to serve as the organization's single authoritative source for analytics.
- Actionable Insights: Enable stakeholders by converting business needs into scalable data models, dashboards, and tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, data science, product, and business teams to align priorities and data solutions.
- Scalable Data Products: Create frameworks and workflows that enhance efficiency while upholding high standards of data quality.
- Outcome-Focused Solutions: Utilize modern development and analytics tools to deliver rapid value while ensuring sustainability.
The role of an analytics engineer blends data engineering, data science, and business analysis, emphasizing end-to-end data flow understanding and the technical skills necessary to maximize value extraction.

- Advanced SQL: Strong capabilities in data transformation and optimization using SQL.
- Intermediate to Advanced Python: Expert in scripting, automation, and building scalable frameworks.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and effectively manage projects.
- Data Pipeline Development: Experience in developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools.
- Data Visualization: Proficient in creating polished dashboards with various tools.
- Development Tools: Familiar with version control, CI/CD, and development workflows.
- Data Architecture: Knowledge of contemporary data architectures and frameworks.
- Business Acumen: Ability to address business challenges through analytics engineering.
- Data Savvy: Understanding of statistics and probability.
Bonus Skills:
- Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS, GCP).

Pay Transparency: Depending on your location, the target annual *base *salary for this position ranges from $207,485 to $244,100 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
