Job Description
Cofactor Recruitment is partnered with an exciting company in Davis, CA and we are seeking a Research Associate - Cell Culture for their protein sciences group. If you have cell culture and either ELISA, Western Blot, or IHC we encourage you to apply.
The position is Contract to hire with an expected 4-6 months on contract.
Requirements
· BS in life sciences with at least one year of bench experience in academic or industry setting
· Comfortable with basic data analysis and ability to keep accurate records of work performed
· At least one year of mammalian cell culture experience and must be fully independent on all aspects of cell maintenance, expansion, preservation, and general handling.
· Experience working with proteins and immunoassays (SDS-PAGE, recombinant protein production and purification, immunoassays such as Western Blot, ELISA, and Immunohistochemistry)
Additional (preferred) experience:
· Experience with protein purification (gravity flow and FPLC based purification)
· Experience with protein conjugation
· Experience with antibody-based assays (Western blot, ICC, IHC, ELISA...)
· Experience working in a GMP environment is a plus but not required
