Role Overview

The Network & Security Administrator – Ops is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and securing the company’s network infrastructure and perimeter security systems. The role ensures high availability, secure connectivity, and operational stability across all sites and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations

· Manage and maintain firewalls (Watchguard)

· Administer switching & routing infrastructure (L2/L3)

· Maintain VPNs (site-to-site & client VPN)

· Troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues

Security Operations

· Maintain firewall policies and rule reviews

· Monitor IDS/IPS alerts

· Support vulnerability remediation (network layer)

· Manage network segmentation and security zones

· Participate in incident response (network-related incidents)

Monitoring & Documentation

· Monitor network performance and availability

· Maintain network diagrams and documentation

· Ensure backup and configuration management of network devices

Required Skills

· Strong TCP/IP knowledge

· Firewall administration experience

· VLAN, routing, NAT, VPN expertise

· Basic understanding of SIEM / SOC processes

· Experience with network troubleshooting tools

Nice to Have

· CCNA / CCNP

· Firewall vendor certification

· Experience in e-commerce environments
