Job Description

The paramount function of this job is to conduct cycle count checks, monitor the quantity, value, and type of equipment, stock, merchandise, supplies, and items for return within the distribution center, and rectify any discrepancies in the stock count. It is also the duty of the Logistics Analyst to supervise quality checks and ensure that the product recall process runs smoothly while fostering a sense of collaboration and teamwork with the operational team to maintain a safe work environment.

The responsibilities of the job can vary depending on the specific industry and nature of the organization. Still, common elements include task management, client interaction, documentation management, and teamwork to accomplish organizational goals and objectives:

• Abide by the daily cycle count plan and execute various assigned duties, which may involve carrying out physical counts of warehouse inventory through cycle counting, to ensure the consistency of recorded information
• To maintain accuracy, the warehouse undergoes weekly cycle counts, with a full inventory check conducted yearly. The cycle count includes all pick and reserve slots, focusing on discrepancies and product/packaging issues
• Provides support for the product damage and loss program and collaborates in uncovering the causes of these incidents
• Contribute to the initiatives directed at recouping and managing products that have been damaged or distressed, as per the program's instructions
• Engages with the supply chain team to ensure the quality control standards are met for time-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items
• Investigating Warehouse Transfer Failures: The Causes of Weight Discrepancies, Handling Problems, and Slot-Related Product Damage
• Maintains vigilance to ensure FIFO items are rotated appropriately
• Confirm the accuracy of the reserve records, and validate the number of pallets stored in the reserve area
• Ensure that the process of put-away and transfer followed by the day and night staff is correct
• To initiate product transfer from cooler to freezer, carefully follow documented procedures and ensure that all relevant details are accounted for
• The household's cleanliness and sanitation standards are preserved
• By meeting and maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards, businesses can gain competitive advantages and enhance their reputation in the market
• Arrange the collection of items at the predetermined time
• Additional tasks may be delegated
