- *Role Title**: Application & Data Support Analyst - Remote position, may require visits to GM’s HQ

- *Overview of the Team**:
CM2 supports Marketing, PR, Digital and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities at General Motors Canada Company. CM2 is based at GM's Canadian headquarters in Oshawa, and aligned with the vehicle sales and service activities of GM.

The Application & Data Support Analyst (ASA) role is a full-time position within the Digital and CRM & Data Enablement teams at GM Canada. The Digital and CRM teams within GM have a mandate to be the center of excellence in CRM and digital innovation, enablement and operations. The group sits at an enterprise level and has a purvey across all brands and consumer facing lines of business. - *Overview of Position**:
This is an opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic and changing environment.
- *Key Activities**:
- Monitor and analyze daily processing errors with a solution-oriented approach and provide recommendations to IT and partners to increase the processing success rate
- Provide direction to Dealer System Providers (DSP), partners, and IT for correction of dealer data, ensuring that all data processing errors are addressed and upon resolution there are no gaps resulting in the Dealer data
- Address all data issues with urgency to minimize impact to GM Programs and Dealers
- Ensure data quality and DSP compliance with current specifications
- Create daily reports to capture the status of the data flows, and distribute to internal stakeholders
- Participate in daily issue investigation activities as requested and work with cross-functional teams to resolve Dealer, field, and other downstream data escalations
- Support issue management workflow and ticket system (Jira)
- Level 2 technical support for the new core inventory management tool, Dealer Digital Command Center (D2C2) along with GM’s Digital Retailing Platform (DRP), Shop Click Drive, Vehicle Inventory Visibility Platform (VIVP), as well as for dealer service providers.
- Participate in strategizing work-flow improvement and operational efficiency
- Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with all GM organizations
- Support Ad-hoc reporting requests and data investigations
- Actively seek out & engage in development opportunities
- Demonstrate managerial courage when appropriate
- Act with integrity & transparency
- *Qualifications**:
- Min 2 - 4 years of proven ASA experience and passion for supporting great products and business system solutions
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce / Business Admin / Computer Science or related discipline, or work equivalent
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, and client expectations
- Ability to query, analyze, and develop findings & insights through data exploration
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Clear and logical critical thinking skills
- Well-developed analytical and reporting skills
- Knowledge of database structures, tables and relationships
- SQL for data analysis including query writing, indexing and data manipulation
- Digitally savvy with exposure to XML, JSON, SQL
- Ability to work across both IT and Business functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite
- Experience working with DSP’s is a strong asset
