Job Responsibility:
Salesforce Consultant Development Program (16-Week Contract) (Onsite in Halifax, NS)
Ateko is seeking two (2) Salesforce enthusiasts to join our onsite Salesforce Consultant Development program in Halifax, NS.
Participants in this 16 week program are paid and provided hands-on training including:
- Technical Salesforce Skills
- Consulting Skills
- Up to six (6) real-world project scenarios for fictitious clients
This program aims to train you on the ‘Ateko' approach to Salesforce Consulting. Participants will gain practical, real-world experience by working on project scenarios that simulate actual historic client engagements. Additionally, participants will receive guidance from experienced Salesforce consultants and team leads during the program.
Based on their performance during the program,, participants will have an opportunity to move into a permanent, full-time role with Ateko.
What success in this program looks like:
- Mastery of core Salesforce concepts and tools
- Ability to deliver solutions for fictitious client scenarios independently
- Achievement of at least one consultant-level Salesforce certification
- Positive feedback from trainers and peers on the participant's consulting approach
Location
Halifax, NS (Onsite attendance is mandatory during the entire 16 week contract)
As the primary purpose of this role is training, this we require participants be onsite at our Halifax office, Monday - Friday for the full duration of the program. While Ateko is a remote-work-friendly organization and offers remote work for our permanent, full-time employees, this hands on program requires in-person attendance to maximize learning opportunities. There are no remote, part-time or hybrid options for this program. Prior to acceptance into the program, applicants will need to provide proof of residence in the Halifax Regional Municipality and eligibility to work in Nova Scotia. Responsibilities:
- Take part in classroom-like Salesforce and Consultant training sessions
- Execute on real-world project scenarios for a ‘fictitious' clients
- Be interested in learning business processes and how to implement them
- Show eagerness to learn new Salesforce technologies
- Engage in continuous learning by asking questions about problems faced
- Keeping abreast of changes in the Salesforce ecosystem
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- A well-developed sense of humour
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce (or CRM systems) is a plus but not mandatory
- Applicants must provide proof of residency in the Halifax Regional Municipality and hold Canadian citizenship or a valid Canadian work permit.

Salary This is a 16-week full-time contract position, hourly for $25.00, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, 40 hours/week totaling $1000 a week.
