Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join an analytical laboratory team, focusing on quality principles and efficient management of responsibilities in a dynamic environment. The role involves analytical testing, method development, equipment maintenance, and collaboration across multiple functions to ensure timely completion of laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, stability, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, and spectrophotometry.
• Develop, validate, and execute analytical methods, ensuring compliance with cGMP, USP, ICH, and CFR regulations.
• Maintain, calibrate, and schedule laboratory equipment, and perform general lab maintenance and cleaning.
• Prepare and review documentation for regulatory filings, monographs, protocols, and SOPs.
• Train and mentor laboratory staff in analytical techniques and cGMP procedures, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage laboratory inventory, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prevent deviations and investigations by improving systems and procedures, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to business development activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from an accredited US college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, UHPLC, GC, ICP-MS, Dissolution, Spectrophotometer, KF, Viscometers, etc.).
• Experience with electronic laboratory systems (LIMS, electronic lab notebooks, TrackWise, OpenLAB, Excel, Word).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (USP, ICH, CFR) and cGMP laboratory practices.
• Ability to prioritize, schedule work, and manage time efficiently in a changing environment.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and train others.
