Job Description
The Project Leader for Energy Efficiency Projects will oversee, coordinate, and implement initiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption, enhancing sustainability, and improving cost efficiency. This role involves managing project lifecycles, from conception to execution, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with energy efficiency standards and regulations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Install and manage EMS controls and energy retrofit projects for Climate Pros customers.
- Functions as the manager of a job-managing multiple resourced, direct, and indirect Climate Pros associates and/or subcontractors on energy and control-related projects in and out of the assigned region, as needed.
- Maintain key strategic relationships with customers at various levels within a customer's organization.
- Conduct field surveys, create a parts list of materials, and coordinate logistics of resources and materials for the timely and efficient execution of assigned projects.
- Assists with the management of team schedules for project timelines and execution.
- Works with the leadership team to actively grow the business interests in the assigned region or business area and overseas financial performance.
- Performs quality assurance paperwork in a timely and concise manner to help streamline billing.
- Become a subject matter expert in energy management, energy efficiency, and lighting solutions and services Climate Pros provides.
- Manage all assigned projects and field personnel to meet customer requirements for schedules and budgets.
- Assists in developing and mentoring direct reports and/or internal resources on projects to meet account objectives and properly complete quality workmanship to Climate Pros standards.
- Promote the Company's core values and culture to other employees, customers, and potential customers.
- Track, identify, and communicate the completion status of each energy efficiency project to customers and company leadership.
- Provides comprehensive field support for large-scale energy-related projects that allow the department to grow, increase profitability, and become more dynamic within this product line.
- Identifies areas of improvement on projects to increase efficiency while limiting facility downtime and/or customer loss.
- Manages travel and entertainment expenses appropriately by adhering to company expectations.
- Up to 50% of travel is required for this position.

Skills, Education, And Competencies
- Experienced in energy management control systems and programming and various energy efficiency technologies.
- Significant experience in supermarket refrigeration systems and controls
- Minimum 5+ years industry experience
- Highly driven and self-motivated
- High level of organizational skills required
- Microsoft Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
