Duties

• Monitor and control plant systems, including water treatment, wastewater management, and power generation equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, pumps, valves, and pipeline machinery with precision and safety awareness.
• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems, pipelines, and treatment facilities to identify issues early and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Manage water treatment processes to maintain quality standards for drinking water or industrial use.
• Oversee wastewater treatment operations to ensure environmental compliance and proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment to handle materials or components during maintenance or installation activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms or system malfunctions, troubleshooting issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed logs of plant operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks for regulatory compliance and operational transparency.

Experience

• Proven experience operating power plant equipment in a utility or industrial setting.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Hands-on experience with water treatment and wastewater management processes.
• Familiarity with pipeline systems used in oil & gas or energy sectors.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, hazardous materials, and environmental regulations.
