What You’ll Be Doing
As the Senior Manager, Advisor Marketing within the Wealth Digital, Marketing and Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic marketing vision for CIBC Wood Gundy and a select group of advisors. Reporting to the Director, Wood Gundy Advisor Marketing, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, advisor engagement, and client acquisition including lead generation. Acting as a strategic marketing partner to a portfolio of wealth advisors who operate as franchisees within Private Wealth, you will provide tailored guidance, innovative tools, and best practices to empower advisors and accelerate marketing efforts. Your leadership will foster cross-functional collaboration, help elevate CIBC Wood Gundy’s brand presence, and deliver measurable results in client acquisition and advisor retention.

How you’ll succeed
- Marketing campaign strategy - Lead the development and execution of Wood Gundy brand campaigns by collaborating with cross-functional teams and agency partners. Elevate brand awareness, strengthen market positioning, client engagement and advisor retention. Ensure brand consistency across all channels, leveraging insights and data to optimize campaign effectiveness and drive impactful results against defined KPIs. Monitor, analyze and report on campaign metrics to key stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Advisor campaign development and execution – Oversee the creation and implementation of small to mid-scale marketing programs for a portfolio of Wood Gundy Advisors. Partner with Advisory teams and internal / external agency partners to deliver impactful campaigns and collateral—including social media, ads, blogs, brochures, event promotion, presentations and more—driven by data and insights to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Industry trends - Stay ahead of industry trends and marketing best practices including shifts in consumer behaviour and emerging technologies to help inform the direction of the advisor marketing offering.
- Marketing governance best practices - Collaborate with Marketing Governance colleagues to help ensure regulatory compliance and uphold marketing best practices.
- Advisor Marketing team support - Contribute to the ongoing execution of strategies that enable frontline teams and support advisor marketing excellence.
- Leadership and collaboration – Demonstrate solutions-oriented leadership in navigating ambiguous and complex business challenges. Excel in managing multiple stakeholders within a highly collaborative and matrixed environment.
- Drive continuous improvement of Wood Gundy Advisor Marketing offerings and operational processes to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
Who you are
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA considered an asset.
- You’re a certified professional. Minimum 7+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong portfolio of advertising and social media campaign work. Experience in wealth management including full-serve brokerage experience is an asset.
- You embrace and advocate for change. You have a proven track record in brand building and advisor/partner marketing. Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
