Job Description
We are setting up a 30,000 layer poultry farm from scratch and are looking for an experienced person who can lead setup + manage daily operations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor coordination for cages, chicks, feed, medicines
- Manage batch planning & bird placement
- Oversee daily farm operations (feeding, egg collection, hygiene)
- Ensure bird health & mortality control
- Coordinate with vets for vaccination & disease control
- Labour supervision
- Maintain production records (egg count, feed consumption, FCR)
- Cost control and efficiency improvement
Requirements
- 3–7 years experience in layer poultry farming (minimum 10,000+ birds)
- Hands-on experience in setting up or managing poultry farms
- Knowledge of vaccination, feed management, and disease control
- Ability to handle farm independently
- Basic record keeping / reporting skills
Salary:
₹30,000 – ₹70,000 per month (based on experience)
Location: Theur, Pune
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Permanent, Volunteer
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Theur, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
