Position: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Part Time Availability with a Private client and potential to grow into full-time

Location: Ottawa

Choice Homecare is looking for a compassionate, Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team for current and future growth opportunities.

We are currently seeking a RPN to provide exceptional in-home client care using their acquired skills and knowledge as proactive member of the care team in planning and delivering our client's care. Duties and Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to:

• Providing clinical support, including medication administration, wound care, vital sign monitoring, and coordination with physicians
• Delivering comprehensive nursing care aligned with care plans, assessments, and individual client needs
• Offering supportive companionship and engaging interaction for your client
• Observing, documenting, and communicating any changes in the client's health status
• Maintaining client privacy and always uphold their dignity at all times during care
• Fostering positive, uplifting experiences for the client throughout your time with them

Choice Homecare requires candidates who:

• Are Registered Practical Nurses in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario with a minimum one year experience.
• Are proficient in communicating in English verbal and written, and Tagalog (mandatory).
• Demonstrate a commitment to client care through reliability and flexibility.
• Have a proactive approach to care, charting, and assessing changes in client needs.
• Have a valid police vulnerable sector check completed within the past 12 months.
• Have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray completed within the past 12 months.
• Have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Are Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
• Have high energy, client centered approach to care and a desire to deliver excellent care.
