Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator: A Launchpad for Your Career in Canada's Supply Chain
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for logistics? Do you want a role where you can make a real impact, drive improvements, and grow your career with a company that's making a difference?
At CHO America, we're not just moving products; we're helping to build a healthier food industry and empowering businesses across North America. Our brands, including Terra Delyssa, are leaders in the market, and our bulk edible oils and dried fruits are essential to thousands of companies.
We're looking for a Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Saint-Laurent, Quebec. This isn't just a job—it's an opportunity to become a key player in our supply chain, learn the ins and outs of a global operation, and fast-track your professional development. If you have a few years of experience and are ready to take on a challenge, this role is for you.
What You'll Do: Your Role in Action
As our Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll be the engine that keeps our bulk division running smoothly. You'll work with a collaborative team and have the autonomy to manage your own tasks while making a direct impact on our operations.
Lead Our Supply Chain Operations
- Take ownership of logistics: Coordinate daily shipments for Canada and US, manage carriers, and ensure our bulk edible oils and dried fruits reach customers on time and on budget.
- Be a proactive problem-solver: You'll be the go-to person for our customers, providing timely updates and documentation. Your ability to anticipate issues and find solutions will be key.
- Innovate and improve: This role offers the chance to identify and implement continuous improvements. If you see a way to make a process more efficient, we want to hear about it.
- Manage the details: Oversee documentation, track inbound containers, handle customs clearance, and ensure our inventory data is always accurate.
This role will prepare you for the next step in your career by providing you with a complete view of the supply chain, from managing inventory and invoicing to ensuring compliance and building carrier relationships.
Who We're Looking For: Your Profile and Potential
We know you're ambitious and looking for a company that will invest in you. You're the kind of person who sees a problem and immediately thinks of a solution.
- You have 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations. Experience with bulk freight is a definite plus, but not required.
- You're a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of freight coordination, customs processes, and logistics documentation.
- You're highly organized and have an almost obsessive attention to detail.
- You're an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take on new challenges.
