Role Description
We are looking to hire a Corporate Associate (3+ years PQE) to join our growing corporate practice in New Delhi.
The role offers exposure to a wide range of high-value domestic and cross-border transactions, with a particular focus on M&A, private equity investments, corporate structuring, and due diligence exercises across sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring matters
- Conducting legal due diligence reviews and preparing red flag / detailed due diligence reports
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents including:
- Share Purchase Agreements
- Share Subscription Agreements
- Shareholders’ Agreements
- Business Transfer Agreements
- Asset Purchase Agreements
- Ancillary transaction documents
- Assisting with transaction structuring and regulatory analysis
- Coordinating with clients, counterparties, and external advisors during transaction execution
- Supporting general corporate advisory mandates, including Companies Act and governance-related matters
Requirements
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, M&A transactions, and due diligence work
- Prior experience at a law firm with a strong corporate practice preferred
- Strong drafting, analytical, and transaction management skills
- Ability to independently manage workstreams while working collaboratively within a team
- Strong academic credentials and attention to detail
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must have a strong academic background from a reputed law school.
