Busy architectural office is looking for a responsible and reliable person to join our Accounting Team.

Junior Accounting / Bookkeeping / Data Entry – full-time, permanent.

37.5 hours per week.

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Data entry
• Accounts payable & accounts receivable
• Credit card and expense reconciliations
• Set up of new projects; close-out of completed projects
• Provide assistance and support to Partners and staff that require accounting and clerical tasks
• Clerical work, including both general and accounting filing.
• General administrative support, including typing, photocopying, phone coverage, mail preparation, etc.

Note that this is not a position that will provide direct work experience for a CGA program.

This position is an office-based position with no remote working ability.

You Have:

• Canadian or equivalent post-secondary education in the field of Accounting or Business Management, or the equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field.
• Strong aptitude for numbers.
• Extreme accuracy and a high attention to detail.
• Microsoft Suite skills; note we use a custom accounting system so knowledge of other accounting systems is not required.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, creative, open office area.

Salary to commensurate with experience and education level (in range of $23-$26 per hour).
