About the Role

Charter is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst / Network Specialist for a 12 month contract. Strong hands‑on networking experience and CCNA‑level capability to support complex enterprise network environments. This role provides advanced technical leadership, operational support, and field‑deployment expertise across a wide range of networking technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute field‑based network deployment activities
  • Demonstrates CCNA-level capability and strong hands-on networking skills
  • Work safely in active construction environments with strict adherence to site protocols
  • Install, rack, power, and onboard Cisco core, distribution, and access switches
  • Bring wireless access points online and validating performance
  • Utilize Cisco‑related tools such as BlueCat IPAM and Cisco Spaces
  • Perform cabling validation, network turn‑ups, and on-site troubleshooting
  • Ensuring all field activities meet safety, configuration, and quality standards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support
  • CCNA-level capability with strong hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise equipment
  • Proven experience working in active construction environments with zero tolerance for safety non-compliance
  • Hands-on experience installing, racking, powering, and onboarding Cisco core, distribution, and access switches
  • Experience bringing enterprise wireless access points online and validating RF performance
  • Familiarity with Cisco ecosystem tools such as BlueCat IPAM and Cisco Spaces
  • Proficiency using network diagnostic tools including NetAlly or equivalent testers
  • Ability to create and interpret network diagrams, configuration documentation, and operational procedures
  • Must supply personal field tools, appropriate testing equipment, and a suitable laptop for on-site work

Pay range and compensation package:

Hourly rate of $50.00 - $60.00 per hour. Rate not applicable to Independent Contractors.
