Job Overview:

CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring boot and Microservices to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and Application. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities

. 6+ years' experience as Java developer.

. Strong fundamental knowledge and experience on java 17 & above along with java frameworks such as spring & spring boot.

. Experience with DevOps and continuous delivery pipelines

. Experience with Kafka streams and Redis cache

. Experience writing unit tests in junit (junit 4/5)

. Experience with GIT (bitbucket)

. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins

. Build tool experience preferably with Maven & Gradle

. Experience with Docker

. Understanding of Agile development methodologies

. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

. Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

. Very strong verbal and written communication skills

. Strong ability to adapt and learn new skills and technologies on the fly.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must-Have Skills: Java Backend Development, Spring boot and Microservices

Good to have: Angular

Location: Hyderabad only

Notice Period: Immediate to 60 Days

Work model: Initial 8 weeks WFO and continued with Hybrid model.
