Your future duties and responsibilities

Core expertise includes Java, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful web services for backend application development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth backend integration and timely delivery through CI/CD pipelines. Containerize and deploy backend services using Docker and OpenShift Container Platform.

Follow DevOps best practices for continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment of backend services. Manage source code and versioning using Git.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend application performance. Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions, ensuring adherence to backend development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend business logic using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate. Additional responsibilities include designing and integrating RESTful APIs, database design and management, performance optimization, bug fixing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Strong fundamental knowledge and experience on java 17 & above along with java frameworks such as spring & spring boot.
• Experience with DevOps and continuous delivery pipelines
• Experience with Kafka streams and Redis cache
• Experience writing unit tests in junit (junit 4/5)
• Experience with GIT (bitbucket)
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins
• Build tool experience preferably with Maven & Gradle
• Experience with Docker
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to adapt and learn new skills and technologies on the fly.
