Job Title: CMS / WordPress Developer – AMS

We are seeking an experienced CMS / WordPress Developer to support and maintain WordPress-based websites and digital assets. The role involves ensuring website availability, security, performance optimization, content management, troubleshooting, and deployment support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in WordPress development, website maintenance, and incident resolution within an Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for WordPress websites and CMS platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website incidents, defects, and performance issues.
- Manage WordPress plugin updates, theme customizations, and compatibility fixes.
- Perform content updates and implement minor website enhancements based on business requirements.
- Monitor website uptime, performance, and security vulnerabilities.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Manage website deployments across various environments.
- Work with hosting platforms and cloud environments to ensure website stability.
- Implement website security best practices and perform regular maintenance activities.
- Follow SLA commitments, ITIL processes, and change management procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver support and continuous improvements.
Must-Have Skills
- 4–7 years of experience in WordPress Development and Support.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving website issues.
- Knowledge of website security practices and performance optimization.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of SEO principles and optimization techniques.
- Experience with Google Analytics and web analytics tools.
