Staff Accountant

Onsite | Bethesda, MD

Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 (max $75K) + bonus

A stable, specialized manufacturing company supporting U.S. defense and public safety programs is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its tight‑knit accounting team. Key Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and invoice processing
• Support accounts receivable activities
• Manage purchase orders and inventory accounting
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support month‑end and general accounting processes
• Work daily in QuickBooks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Associates degree considered with strong hands‑on AR/AP experience
• 1+ year of accounting experience, with measurable exposure to AR and/or AP
• Strong attention to detail
• Motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable wearing multiple hats

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• QuickBooks experience
• Government contracting (GovCon) background
• Internship experience in AR or AP (open to new grads)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 (max)
• Discretionary bonus up to 10%
