Role Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Compensation & Benefits professional to drive analytics, execution, and continuous improvement of global compensation and benefits programs.
This role is part of the global Total Rewards team, supporting multiple regions and business units. It is ideal for someone who operates with high independence, brings strong market intelligence, and partners closely with HRBPs, Finance, and business leaders to influence reward decisions. The position also plays a key role in people analytics, data-driven decision-making, and cross-organizational HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation (Core Focus)
- Independently manage global compensation cycles (merit, promotions, bonuses) for assigned business units
- Perform market benchmarking using global survey data (Mercer, WTW, Aon) and provide actionable insights
- Conduct pay equity and internal parity analysis across regions, recommending data-driven interventions
- Support design and maintenance of global salary structures, pay ranges, and job evaluation frameworks
- Advise HRBPs and managers worldwide on compensation decisions, offers, and retention cases
Benefits Management
- Support administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs across regions
- Interface with vendors and regional stakeholders for service delivery, renewals, and cost optimization
- Conduct benchmarking and recommend enhancements aligned with local market practices and global philosophy
- Support benefits communication and employee awareness initiatives
Analytics & Insights (High Ownership Area)
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and models on global compensation trends, pay positioning, and cost impact
- Provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning and budgeting discussions
- Lead people analytics efforts including data consolidation, analysis, and executive-level presentations
- Analyze effectiveness of rewards programs and propose improvements
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compensation and benefits programs align with global policies and local regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation and support internal/external audits
- Contribute to development and enhancement of Total Rewards policies and SOPs
Projects & Global Collaboration
- Support and lead cross-organizational HR projects and global initiatives
- Partner closely with HRBPs, Finance, and Talent Acquisition globally
- Collaborate with global rewards teams to ensure alignment and consistency
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for compensation and benefits topics across the organization
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field
- MBA / PGDM in HR – preferred
- 7–10 years of Compensation & Benefits experience in a global organization
- Experience in telecom, technology, or product-based companies – strong advantage
Key Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in compensation analytics and global benchmarking
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, data analysis); Power BI / Tableau – advantage
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.)
- Solid understanding of job evaluation frameworks and pay structures
- Knowledge of multi-country compensation and benefits practices
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights
